If you want to see the DXB tip, which is converting 3d solid model to 2d space,
you will need some 3d object
for example I have taken some text
create you model first, I am making it right now
I have exploded text so I can give it 3rd dimension
use pull and press to do that
sometimes it simply won't do :)
then use extrude, if even than won't do
you have to close that lines into a polyline
note that lines remain when the pull tool is used,
it would be great if you could delete them
after you have created 3d model try to rotate it
change coordinate system and rotate it for 90 degrees
use rotate and select perspective view
and make your position of view towards the model
go to plot and select in plotter: DXB.pc3
make sure you select monochrome so that your lines can be visible,
you can edit them later
select "paper" size (this is not going to be plotted)
you will get digital file
select hidden geometry BUT NOT 3D just regular one
then select your model and hit preview
this is how it is going to be plotted
go to plot and save file somewhere
now I am going to insert DXB file
(drawing exchange binary)
sometimes the file can be very small
so you'll have to zoom all and find it
it is usually near coordinate center
there is you 3d model in one plane
every line is separated
